Earthquake Central Kansas

An Earthquake shook central Kansas Wednesday morning.

The quake, which struck at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, measured a magnitude 4.3, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was centered approximately 3 miles south-southwest of Gypsum and was felt across a wide area, including in Salina. There are no reports of damage or injury. Wednesday’s quake follows a series of quakes in Saline County over the past two months including two small quakes on Saturday that measured 2.5 and 2.2, according to the Kansas Geological Survey.
