Double Homicide

Two Junction City residents were found and arrested in Michigan after they were accused of a double homicide in Kansas. The Junction City Police Department says that around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday officials were called to the home in the 700 block of W. First St. with a request to check on the homeowners. When officials arrived, they said they found 75-year-old Valerie J. Krissman and 80-year-old Roland C. Krissman deceased in the home. Autopsies have been scheduled and the deaths are under investigation as homicides. JCPD said on Sunday, warrants were issued for 33-year-old Steven P. Pierceand 29 year old Kallie R. Peters both of Junction City, for two counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felony theft. Officials indicated that both Pierce and Peters were found by the Michigan State Patrol and were arrested. They are currently behind bars in Michigan pending extradition back to Kansas.
