RE: Chapman Archery Sweeps Pratt Tournaments
Chapman Archery won top honors at both the Pratt 3-D and Pratt Bullseye tournaments on March 4th in Pratt, Kansas.  Schools participating in the tournaments were Andover Central Middle School, Prairie Hills Middle School, Rchc Kansas Oaks Homeschool, Chapman Schools, Pratt High School, and Wichita South High School.
In the team competition, Chapman won first place in both the high school and middle school divisions in each of the two tournaments – bullseye and 3-D.
Chapman High School archers won the bullseye tournament with a combined score of 3,145 points with 113 perfect arrows.  Individual top ten honors included:
Chapman High School Boys
1st – Ben Griffis
3rd – Nathan Hutzenbiler
4th – Aiden Rowley
6th – Clayton Carson
10th – Colt Dester
Chapman High School Girls
1st – Brigan Hanney
2nd – Leah Chekal
3rd – Reagan Morris
5th – Syriana Olson
9th – Lillian Rutz
Chapman Middle School archers won the bullseye tournament with a combined score of 2,937 points with 74 perfect arrows.  Individual top ten honors included:
Chapman Middle School Boys
2nd – Gerald (Junior) Gullion
4th – Thomas Randle
5th – Zaidyn Olson
8th – Kayden Westfall
Chapman Middle School Girls
2nd – Cady Marston
3rd – Josslyn DePew
7th – Nadia Hutzenbiler
Chapman High School archers won the 3-D tournament with a combined score of 1,624 points with 69 perfect arrows.  Individual top ten honors included:

2nd – Clayton Carson
3rd – Nathan Hutzenbiler
5th – Aiden Rowley
10th – Travis Leasure
Chapman High School Girls
1st – Reagan Morris
2nd – Brigan Hanney
3rd – Syriana Olson
4th – Leah Chekal
5th – Lillian Rutz
Chapman Middle School archers won the 3-D tournament with a combined score of 1,534 points with 49 perfect arrows.  Individual top ten honors included:

2nd – Gerald (Junior) Gullion
3rd – Thomas Randle
4th – Zaidyn Olson
7th – Kason Britt
10th – Adrian Williams
Chapman Middle School Girls
1st – Josslyn DePew
2nd – Cady Marston
8th – Nadia Hutzenbiler
10th – Audrey Dester
Chapman archers Turner Worden, Braydon Baier, Kenny Worden, Ryan Westfall, and Logan Gunderson also contributed to the tournament wins.
Chapman Archery, in partnership with Chapman Schools, is a member of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).  Through archery, the program aims to improve educational performance among students by practicing focus, self-control, discipline, patience, and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life.  Chapman Archery operates through group fundraising and is led by trained volunteer coaches.  For more information, contact lead coaches Kyle Griffis or Brad Morris at [email protected].
