IKE’S BOOK CLUB

John AndersonJanuary 18, 2022

Various books about leadership will be the focus of the 2022 Ike’s Virtual Book Club. The theme for this year’s virtual book club is Dwight Eisenhower: The Making of a Leader. Ike’s Book Club will meet using the Zoom platform. “Our book selection focuses on the categories of family, military, presidency, and mentorship. The book discussions will each focus on how they relate to Dwight Eisenhower’s leadership,” the Eisenhower Library noted in a news release. The first book, in February, is The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. The discussion is scheduled to be led by Gene Chaves with Humanities Kansas. The 2022 version of the book club is scheduled to conclude with Susan Eisenhower discussing her recent book How Ike Led. The full reading list and schedule is available at eisenhowerlibrary.gov.
