On November 25, the Dickinson County Game Warden responded to a call about a poached deer in southern Clay County about 2 ½ miles Northeast of Manchester just off of Frontier Road. A large-bodied headless buck was found at the scene that appeared to have been shot with a rifle. The poaching occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on November 22 and 8:00 a.m. on November 23 (Thanksgiving Day).
