Law enforcement authorities investigating a drive-by shooting in Herington have made an arrest. On Wednesday, police were dispatched to a reported shooting at the intersection of S. B Street and Day Street in Herington, according to a media release. The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Travis Richardson of Abilene, confronted another subject that was walking at the intersection following a confrontation at a nearby residence. richardson produced a semi-automatic pistol and fired fourteen times at the victim before fleeing the scene. According to online jail records, Richardson is being held on requested charges that include Criminal damage to property; Without consent value $1000 to $25,000, Criminal discharge of firearm; Public road/public right of way/railroad, Criminal discharge of firearm; Recklessly at occupied dwelling, attempted Murder in the 2nd degree; Intentional.
